🌍 "Identity and Diversity – Living in Solidarity and Shaping the World of Tomorrow"
Here, we present a retrospective look at the highlights of this international youth exchange! It was an enriching experience that underscored the importance of living in solidarity and fostering collaboration.
From October 26 to November 5, 2024, 10 young people from Germany and 10 from Ukraine came together to explore topics such as identity, diversity, and solidarity. Through various workshops on dance, music, and media, participants not only developed new skills but also gained a deeper understanding of cultural differences and shared values. 🎶💃🎥
Memorable experiences included visits to historical sites in Berlin, such as the Holocaust Memorial and the Berlin Wall Memorial. These excursions brought history to life and sparked meaningful discussions about societal cohesion and contemporary issues.
The workshops also led to collaborative projects, including a short film, a music piece, and a dance performance that reflected the diversity of the group. 🌟
The exchange was organized by D4U in collaboration with Junge Humanist_innen Berlin im HVD Berlin-Brandenburg and the Обʼєднання «Агенція розвитку освітньої політики in Kyiv, with support from the Bundesministerium für Familie, Senioren, Frauen und Jugend through the Federal Child and Youth Plan (KJP).
